North Garrison-Fort McDowell, Angel Island

GeoSolve® was contracted by West Bay Builders to bio-remediate 55-yards of oil and grease contaminated soil excavated during restoration of the Chinese Internment Camp and placement of an underground sewage storage tank.  During excavation activities, Bay Miwok Indian Burial Ground was uncovered and the underground sewage storage tank was relocated due to negotiation by GeoSolve® to the California Department of Parks and Recreation.  The oil and grease contaminated soil stockpile was successfully bio-remediated on-site and re-used as fill.
